Premium Seating at Disney World Evening Shows Without Using Fast Pass+

How to see shows wo fp+Good news! You don’t have to use one of your 3 Fast Pass+ reservations on an evening show at Disney World! I have found ways to view Fantasmic, Illuminations, and Wishes via a premium or VIP viewing situation….as if you had a Fast Pass+ (or better!) So save your Fast Passes for the attractions and I’ll fill you in the secrets below:

Fantasmic at Hollywood Studios: Book a dinner and show package at one of the following restaurants – Hollywood Brown Derby, Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano, or Hollywood & Vine. You’ll receive a Prix Fixe dinner at Hollywood Brown Derby and Mama Melrose’s, or an all-you-can-eat buffet at Hollywood & Vine. Booking a dinner package at one of these restaurants will get you VIP seating tickets for Fantasmic. You already need to eat dinner – why not combine it with VIP seating for Fantasmic and save your Fast Pass+ for the amazing attractions at Hollywood Studios? I recommend booking 180 days in advance to ensure you receive an optimal dinner time.

Here’s the link:

Illuminations at Epcot: You can reserve a seat at the IllumiNations Sparkling Dessert Party, which is a tasting of desserts from around the world while enjoying VIP seats. This costs $49 for adults and $29 for kids under 10.

Another way to enjoy premium seats for Illuminations is to make dinner reservations at Rose and Crown restaurant in the UK around 7:30 pm. Upon arrival, request a balcony seat and take your time eating dinner – you’ll have a spectacular view of the fireworks from your seat. No crowds to stand in, just your own private balcony crowd!

Wishes at Magic Kingdom: I recommend the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party to watch the Wishes fireworks show. You’ll have prime viewing of Cinderella’s castle, while enjoying premium desserts during the show. This has a similar cost as the Illuminations Dessert Party, but well worth it because the crowds gathered to watch the Wishes show are staggering. The private balcony at the Tomorrowland Terrace restaurant offers an unobstructed view of the show….in fact, Tinker Bell flies right above your patio! You’ll want reservations 180 days in advance for this option.

—-or if none of the above options work for you, then you can always opt to reserve a Fast Pass+ after you’ve used all 3 of them during the day. The only issue is that the Fast Pass+ for these shows often disappear by early/mid afternoon on crowded days.
