Disney Cruise Line Ship Comparison Guide

dcl-ships-fast-facts

You’ll have a magical time on any of the four Disney cruise ships, but there are many great features and a few drawbacks to each ship that you should keep in mind when deciding on which cruise to book.  I have been on two (planning for the third!!) Disney Cruises, so I’ve done a lot of research about each ship and boiled it all down in a quick-read guide for you.

Special Notes:

  • The Fantasy & Dream have 2 more decks of staterooms, meaning there are a lot more people on board the ship – up to 1500 more! Public areas (especially the pool deck) can feel really crowded.
  • The AquaDuck! This is such a fun waterslide! It’s a double rider (2-person raft) transparent tube water coaster nearly 800 feet long. The line can get long, so best times to do this waterslide are earlier in the day or on port days. There is a 48″ height requirement.
  • Soda is free on all Disney ships (unlike other cruise lines)
  • Even though there are some differences between the ships, each one has been kept in immaculate condition. No matter which ship you sail on, you will have a wonderful life experience. No one does it like Disney!
